Lisa Jasa

Lisa Brown Jasa, 63, former communications specialist and editor of Nebraska Extension’s CropWatch newsletter, died Sept. 28 at the Monarch, due to pancreatic cancer. Jasa became a communications specialist in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Department of Agricultural Communications in the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 1985, where she edited Nebraska Extension publications and worked on other writing projects. Dr. Susan Fritz set to retire from Nebraska U

Dr. Susan Fritz joined NU’s Central Administration office in 2011 and has served as executive vice president and provost since 2012. Fritz began her university career in 1989 as an instructor in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication, and went on to be ALEC's department head. She has held progressive leadership roles since.
