AESC graduates are hired by business, industry, federal and local governmental agencies, media outlets, nonprofits and more. They are hired as science writers, marketing specialists, communications specialists, commodity sales representatives, media experts and community development specialists, to name just a few.
If you plan to go back to the farm, high-speed internet now allows you to take your education and skills and work from wherever you are.

Internship Opportunities
As an AESC major, you will have a 400-hour paid internship (that’s 10 40-hour weeks) before you graduate. The internship gives you a chance to “try on” a career without committing to it. If you love it, there’s a good chance you’ll be hired full-time when you graduate!
