Join us for ALEC 805: Advanced Teaching Strategies (in person or online)!

This course will help develop and improve your teaching skills. Whether you have no experience or tons, this course is for you! We'll prepare for a variety of educational settings, including universities, community colleges, cooperative extension, public schools, and/or community agencies. Our teaching strategies and methods will focus on understanding student diversity, teaching & learning styles, planning for instruction, developing learning environments, and assessment. You'll have opportunities to learn through practicing various teaching strategies and methods. Prepare to bring your own experience as a teacher and a learner to class.

**NOTE: Students enrolling in the distance option must ensure they have somewhere to practice and record facilitation as that will be a key component of class time for the on-campus section.
