Dr. Helen Fagan, ALEC Assistant Professor of Practice and Director of Leadership Engagement for the Rural Futures Institute, joins the ranks of UN Ambassadors, an astronaut, a Nobel Prize Laureate and more as a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow.

Nebraska Rotary Chapter President, Randy Bretz, attended the 2018 film premier of “Healing of Harman” for which Fagan was a consulting producer. During the premier, she shared an opening address on her belief that “inclusive communities are the foundation of a thriving community as our demographics shift”. After hearing her speak, Bretz invited Fagan to be the keynote speaker for the State of Nebraska Rotary Conference where she shared on “Inclusive Leaders: Who are They? How do you Become one?”. Little did Fagan know, she would also be recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.
