Courtney Albrecht, ALEC Senior, will be joining 8 other University of Nebraska-Lincoln Rural Futures Institute’s students with the Student Serviceship program this summer. The RFI program will send students out in the rural communities to help with community improvement projects as part of their summer mentorship program. It will connect students with mentors from the community to complete strategic, future-focused projects.

“The RFI Fellows program allows you to use your creativity, grow in cultural intelligence and collaborate with other leaders wanting to make an impact as well,” Albrecht said. “In order to become an inclusive leader, I think having a fully immersive experience like this is crucial.”
