Nick is earning a Ph.D. in Human Sciences with a specialization in Leadership Studies in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication. Nick has two other degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln: a M.S. in Leadership Education and a B.S. in Biological Sciences.

Nick has a background in student affairs and leadership education. He is interested in college student development and understanding how college students develop their leadership identities. Nick also works with college students and young alumni on developing leisure skills to find purpose in their free time outside of school and work.
