Jayna is pursuing an M.S. in Leadership Education in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

She has extensive experience in leadership, training, and mentoring. As a graduate research assistant, Jayna supports an undergraduate interpersonal skills for leadership course, co-managing logistics for 300–500 students’ 20-hour service-learning projects and contributing to curriculum development and instruction. She also provides support for the Nebraska Rural Poll.

Education

Jayna earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management.

Research:

Jayna’s research focuses on experiential and service-learning in leadership education and curriculum development.

She designed and implemented a Charismatic Leadership Tactics (CLTs) module, examining students’ confidence and application of CLTs through pre/post surveys and feedback. She is also interested in the development of teaching assistants, creating and facilitating training across multiple courses.
