Ag Ed Experiential Learning Opportunities

Ag Ed Roadshow

In your first year, you’ll plan and lead a day-long field trip that takes you to three K–12 schools. Teaching real students, and sparking their curiosity about agriculture.

Grant Experience

In your third year, you will pitch an idea for a grant-funded workshop and develop engaging educational content. You then get the opportunity to host that workshop with the industry partner and teach K–12 learners in a real-world setting.

Husker High School Days

In your third year, experience life as an ag teacher through a day-long simulation where you teach over 200 real high school students, tackle real challenges, and grow through feedback.

Student Teaching

In your final semester, step into the role of a full-time ag teacher — leading instruction, managing classrooms, and advising student groups and develop a Legacy Project that delivers real, lasting impact for your cooperating school.
