Dr. L.J. McElravy is an Associate Professor of Leadership in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication. His research and extension efforts focus on leadership development across the lifespan, investigating how leadership is a developmental process that profoundly impacts the success of teams, organizations, and communities. This foundational belief was shaped by his four years of service in the U.S. Army. Additionally, Dr. McElravy is recognized for his contributions to graduate education, having worked to improve graduate leadership curriculum and previously serving as the Associate Dean of Professional Development for the Office of Graduate Studies at UNL.
 

Education

His Ph.D. is in Leadership Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
