Olateju Akintayo is the master’s research assistant for the Nebraska Human Resources Institute (NHRI). She is working as the Assistant Director of Events and Experience.

Olateju Akintayo is earning a M.S. in Leadership Education with a specialization in Leadership Curriculum Development. She holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in microbiology from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria.

Before joining UNL, she had worked as an administrator in the private educational sector in Nigeria, pioneering leadership training and mentoring sessions with youths, teenagers, and middle schoolers. She is passionate about mentoring and leadership capacity building, especially among youth and teenagers.
