Dr. Becky Haddad is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Education in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication (ALEC). She earned her Ph.D. in Education with an Agricultural Education option from Oregon State University and Master of Science in Agricultural Education from North Dakota State University. She received her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a minor in biotechnology. In addition to formal education, her teaching experience includes the high school classroom, 4H youth development, summer camp counselor, and raising three children. Becky uses her research interests to support preservice and in-service teachers in making a career out of teaching in agricultural contexts. In addition to supporting preservice teachers with her teaching on campus, she engages in professional associations to support in-service teachers through delivering scheduled and ongoing professional development.
