A degree in agricultural leadership, education and communication prepares students with essential communication, interpersonal and leadership skills as well as knowledge of technical agriculture, natural resources and the environment to be extraordinary leaders, teachers and communicators in a variety of careers. Whether you hope to teach school-based agricultural education or extension education, work in agribusiness leadership training and development, or have a career in communications, advocacy, and public service, the ALEC major is customizable to fit your career goals. Or consider an ALEC minor to help you become a more effective leader and communicator in business, industry, and community.
