The Agricultural Education program in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication (ALEC) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln prepares future agricultural educators to make a lasting impact in classrooms, communities, and the agriculture industry. As the only university in Nebraska currently graduating agricultural education teachers, ALEC equips students with the tools, experiences, and support needed to lead with confidence. What You’ll Learn 

The Agricultural Education Teaching Option prepares you to:

  • Become a certified secondary education teacher in Agricultural Education
