Nebraska does not host a state Forestry CDE.
Per Nebraska FFA Board Policy:
The highest placing team in the Forestry division competing at the State Envirothon event, which also meets the following requirements shall be named the national- qualifying team to represent Nebraska at the National Forestry competition:
- The team must consist entirely of students who are enrolled in at least one semester of an agriculture course during the respective current school year.
- The course(s) in which each student is enrolled must be taught by a certified Nebraska agriculture instructor.
