About

Jadyn Heckenlively is a freshman at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln studying Agricultural and Environmental Science Communication. Jadyn grew up in Alma, a small town in south central Nebraska. There she lived on a farm where her family raised cattle as well as growing corn, soybeans, and wheat.

Jadyn’s background in agricultural started at a very young age being involved in 4-H, showing cattle at her county fair. As she grew up, her passion grew even more with being involved in FFA as well as becoming more a part of the cattle business with her family. Her other passion is photography. She decided what better than to combine her two passions of photography and agriculture and find an area of study that has both.

When Jadyn is not in school or out taking photos, she is involved in activities on campus including intramural sports as well as her professional sorority Sigma Alpha. She also enjoys going to the Harlan County Reservoir located in her hometown in the warmer months as well as spending time with her friends and family.
